The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with enterprise-level commercial clients. This role requires a strategic sales leader who can navigate complex sales cycles, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth in large organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling technology solutions and consulting services to C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers. This role demands exceptional leadership, client management skills, and a deep understanding of the enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities:   
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target and acquire enterprise-level commercial accounts, focusing on large-scale revenue opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing complex, high-value deals with enterprise clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives, department heads, and key decision-makers within large organizations.  
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, using these insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Services and Order Management, to ensure solutions align with client specifications and compliance requirements.   
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, ensuring the smooth transition from pre-sale to post-sale support.   
  • Manage KPIs and sales metrics toward meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Leverage CRM software to track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and generate forecasts and reports.   
  • Must be a “Hunter” with ability to generate new customers/logos. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance preferred. 
Technical Expertise and Responsibilities:   
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of KNZ Solutions' product offerings and their applicability to SLED clients.   
  • Explain complex technical solutions clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.   
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address client needs, ensure compliance with government standards, and resolve any post-sales technical challenges.   
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments affecting SLED clients to provide valuable insights and solutions. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance preferred. 
Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; a MBA is preferred.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise-level sales, with at least 2 years in a senior sales role focused on technology solutions or consulting services.
  • Knowledge of Cisco and industry IT solutions (preferred)
  • Consistent track record of success in leading a territory while managing and winning major strategic opportunities
  • Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale enterprise accounts
  • consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Expertise in selling complex solutions to C-level executives and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead high-stakes discussions and close multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools to drive performance tracking and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology trends, consulting methodologies, and business process optimization.
  • Prior experience with VARs (Value Added Reseller) preferred 
On Target Earnings Salary Range: $160k - $240k (includes base and incentive compensation)
